Pivotal Lighting Design is engaged in a multi-phase project to enliven the street presence of this office building in downtown Chicago. Phase 1 of the renovation incorporates blue LED uplighting that fills the expansive entry alcove and complements the finishes in the space. Contrasting warm white LED lighting at ground level provides a welcoming layer of illumination and respects the building’s historic 1913 base façade. A new digital control system provides dimming and maximum flexibility, while utilizing the existing conduit and wiring to greatly reduce the cost and complexity of installation.
